Group Managing Director and Founder
Richard is the Group Managing Director and founder of RILOW Property Group. He commenced his career in the building industry predominately in the Sales & Marketing fields. Through his determination to succeed, by the age of 25, he had progressed to the role of Sales Manager.
In 2009, at the age of 28, Richard established Elderton Homes with a strategy to deliver on a commitment to customer-centric service and build quality with an emphasis also on original home designs and affordable inclusions for both young families and first home buyers.
Based on Richard’s own high standards, work ethic, and values, Elderton Homes has grown to become an impressive player in the residential home building industry.
Rilow Property Group now comprises a further three companies: White Square Properties is the Group’s land and house & land sales division with a focus on the new home market. Millbrook Homes, established together with Richard’s brother Daniel in 2013, is RILOW Property Group’s premium home provider, building customised luxury homes for the discerning market. The latest business to join the RILOW Property Group family is Bluestone Developments (NSW) which focuses on land acquisitions and residential development.
As the Group Managing Director, Richard is the driving force behind the company and has been highly effective and influential in guiding the Group to one of the most respected top 20 home builders in NSW.
Chief Financial Officer
Alan is a qualified and registered accountant with over 30 years of hands-on experience in multiple industry sectors including import/export, wholesale, services, manufacturing and home building. Alan has also held various senior management positions in ASX listed companies, and in his own business over the past 25 years. A lateral and strategic thinker, Alan is committed to continuous improvement, organic growth and an expansionary vision for the RILOW Property Group.
Alan’s depth and breadth of industry experience combined with an extensive skills set enables RILOW Property Group to both implement and manage its future growth plans with a confident and measured approach whilst also expanding its horizons and fulfilling its potential in a commercially secure and financially stable environment.
General Manager – Sales & Marketing
John joined RILOW Property Group in 2014 after almost eight years working in various roles at Australia’s largest diversified property group – Stockland – most recently leading the company’s Sales Team across all NSW projects. This spread has allowed John to develop a broad knowledge base that can be applied to the varied aspects of his role overseeing the Sales and Marketing function of all brands within RILOW Property Group.
John recognises the value of establishing and maintaining long lasting relationships with key partners that can be leveraged to further grow the RILOW Property Group brand. John’s extensive experience and drive to increase the Group’s effectiveness within the marketplace ensures that we continue to provide superior services and products to our clients and key stakeholders.
Advisory Board Member
Graeme has over 25 years experience in real estate development, finance, advisory and funds management roles. Previously he was an Executive Director at Macquarie Bank for 16 years initiating and managing, real estate finance, equity investments, real estate funds management vehicles and real estate development projects.
Over the past 25 years, Graeme has gained broad exposure to local and international real estate markets across a wide range of transaction roles and projects in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, UK, and US markets.
Graeme is a Member of the Australian Institute of Directors (MAICD) and a Chartered Accountant.
Advisory Board Member
Mike Christensen is the Managing Director of Truro Partners, a provider of finance and treasury advisory services. He is also a Senior Consultant with Stellar Business Consultancy, a boutique consulting and advisory company established to assist SME business owners and leaders position their companies for scalable growth.
Mike created Truro Partners and joined Stellar after a 25-year finance and treasury career, including 16 years working in the property sector for top 50 ASX listed property trusts such as DEXUS Property Group and Westfield, and working in the UK, USA and Australia.
Mike’s last executive role was General Manager, Group Treasury for DEXUS. His other roles at DEXUS included Head of Finance Transformation and Head of Strategic Planning.
Mike’s a qualified and experienced company director. He’s Chair of the Finance and Treasury Association (FTA), and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). He’s also a member of the Loreto Kirribilli Finance and Risk Committee.
Mike holds a Masters in Applied Finance from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Economics from QUT.
Advisory Board Member (LLB.Hons)
Chris has been a non-executive director of private and unlisted companies following a career as a senior executive with listed entities including Lend Lease, Macquarie Bank Group, Principal Global Investors, Valad Property Group and Transpacific Industries. Chris was previously a non executive director of Landcom and Propell National Valuers, both for six years, and is presently Independent Chairman of Tibra Capital Pty Ltd a successful participant in global financial markets.
